Novelties for the Original Equipment, UFI Filters expands its product portfolio applied to hybrid cars. The Group, leader in filtration and thermal management, has won the exclusive supply of the oil filter module for the second generation 6-cylinder BMW petrol engine, starting from 2022. The new engine is mounted both in plug-in hybrid models and in traditional ones.

Applied to different platforms of the German manufacturer, the new engine guarantees maximum sustainability and reduced emissions, covering most of the BMW 3.0 liters cars such as the 7 Series, 3 Series and the entire X Series (except for the X1). This important project is additional to the supply of the oil module, for petrol and diesel engines with 6 cylinders, starting from 2020.

UFI Filters is confirmed as a preferred supplier for important car makers such as BMW. The newly awarded project represents an extension and a technological evolution of the UFI Filters business, considering that the Group was already providing the oil module for both diesel and petrol 6-cylinder engines since their first appearance in the market in 2015.
